If you want more out of college, we have a solution for that. One of the best things you can do for yourself is to get involved. If you're in the Digital Media Program at ETSU, there's no better organization for you to be in.
EDGE is the official Student ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter of ETSU. We're students who have a passion for design, and it's our job to make sure you get the most out of your college experience. Passion is contageous. Spread it.
Current News
At the Edge members' meeting on January 27, the club voted to decrease the number of officers from 7 to 5, consolidating the positions in an attempt to be more efficient. The policy will be loosely in effect until next semester.
Our Vice Chair, Will Haynes has stepped down from his position, and has been replaced with Tim Lewis, the previous Historian. The Historian is one of the positions that was cut, and its duties have largely been merged with the those of the Vice Chair. The PR position has been put under control of the secretary, who will appoint those who are interested to make flyers, etc. Feel free to volunteer, especially if you are interested in graphic design and want some free experience!
The meeting structure has also been slightly changed to be more organized. The best way to learn about this would be to show up at a meeting and find out! Come to meetings!
Last night we held elections for the 2009-2010 officers. Anna Seaver was elected Chair. William Haynes was elected Vice Chair. Steven Buono was elected Secretary. Ben Sledge, Treasurer. Tim Lewis, Historian. Josh Underwood, Web Administrator. And Edwin Juengel was elected for Public Relations. Congratulations guys (and girl)!
